SanOsurf.com knows that you care how information
about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that
we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our
privacy policy.
Information collection
SanOsurf.com is the sole owner of the information collected on
SanOsurf.com. SanOsurf.com collects information from our users
at several different points on our Web site.
Orders: We request information from
the user on our order form. A user must provide SanOsurf.com
with contact information (such as name, email, and shipping
address) and our photo fulfillment and payment partners (Printroom.com
and Paypal) collect financial information (such as credit
card number, expiration date). This information is used for
billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have
trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact

SanO Tribe: When users want to receive
occasional information on SanO news products, services, special
deals, they can sign up for the Sano Tribe with just an e-mail
address.
Comments and e-mail: Users can also
volunteer information when the enter comments in our News
section or when they send e-mails to customer service.
Information use
SanOsurf does not use personally identify able information to
profile our customers. We use aggregate information to know our
audience better. (See Log Files, below) We use personal
information provided by our customers (for instance, e-mail and
shipping addresses, to fulfill orders to our store. This information
is never shared except to fill orders — for instance, the shipping
address is shared with our shipper. The personal information of
our users is not used for any other purposes and is not shared
with Third Parties except with prior consent of the user (see
Surveys & Contests) below.
Cookies: A cookie is a piece of data
stored on the user's computer tied to information about the
user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally
identifiable information while on our site.We use only session
ID cookies — once users close the browser, the cookie simply
terminates. The cookies allow our customers to browse between
products and put items into a shopping cart which will last
until the user quits his or her browser. Our photo fulfillment
partner, Printroom.com, uses cookies to recall a user's email
address and other information stored in his or her customer
profile. Printroom uses cookies to remember the contents of
your shopping cart as you make your selections for up to seven
days, and to recall your billing address. Read more about

Log Files: Like most standard Web
site servers collect data in our log files to help us administer
the site, analyze trends and understand who our visitors are.
The information collected includes internet protocol (IP)
addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP),
referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp. IP addresses,
etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Clear Gifs: We employ a software
technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs),
that help us keep statistics for our logs.¾ Clear gifs are
tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function
to cookies, and are used to count visits to the pages in our
site. Clear gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable
information, but are strictly used to collect the information
listed in the "Log Files" section above.
Communications with the SanO Tribe:
When users want to receive occasional information on SanO
news products, services, special deals, they can sign up for
the SanO Tribe with just an e-mail address. We send these
Tribe members a "welcome" e-mail and other occasional e-mails
to send the user the requested information. We do not share
our e-mail list. Users cancel their membership in the Tribe
at any time by sending an e-mail to customerservice@sanosurf.com.
The site has no other form of membership.
Customer Service:
We communicate with users by e-mail on a regular basis to
provide requested services and in regards to issues relating
to their account. So we can make it easy for customers to
tell us how we're doing, we also send customers an e-mail
with a "feedback" link after each purchase.
Security This Web site takes every precaution
to protect our users' information. We do not collect sensitive
information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers
on our site. That information is collected by our fulfillment
and payment partners, Paypal and Printroom.com. These partners
were chosen specifically for their excellent security measures.

While these partners provide us with the shipping and contact
information entered by our customers, we are not provided with
our customer's credit cards and have no way to access that information.
Sharing
Legal Disclaimer: Though we make
every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose
personal information when required by law wherein we have
a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply
with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal
process served on our Web site.
Third Party Intermediaries: We may
share information with our photo fulfillment and payment partners
Paypal and Printroom.com in the course of resolving customer
service issues. We do not share personally identifiable information
with any other entities and Paypal and Printroom.com do not
share sensitive information such as credit card numbers with
us.
Links: This web site contains links to
other sites. Please be aware that we at SanOsurf.com are not responsible
for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our
users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy
statements of each and every web site that collects personally
identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely
to information collected by this Web site.
Surveys & Contests: From time-to-time
our site requests information from users via surveys or contests.
Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary
and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose
this information. The requested information typically includes
contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic
information (such as zip code). Contact information will be used
to notify the winners and award prizes.¾If the contest is sponsored
by a Third Party the participants information will be shared with
the contest/survey sponsors. Users' personally identifiable information
is not shared with third parties unless we give prior notice and
choice. Users will always be notified when a Third Party is sponsoring
a contest and will be told what information the sponsor is getting
in a special announcement on this page, accessible by a link in
the contest or survey form. Anonymous survey information will
be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction
of this site.
Posting a comment in our news section:
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal
information online - for example in a comment - that information
can be collected and used by others. In short, by posting personal
information online that is publicly accessible, you may receive
unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
Tell-A-Friend: If a user elects to use
our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we
ask them for the friendês name and email address. SanOsurf.com
will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them
to visit the site. SanOsurf.com stores this information for the
sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact
SanOSurf.com at customerservice@sanosurf.com
to request the removal of this information from our database.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating
Personal Information: If a user's personally identifiable
information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal
address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide
a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally
identifiable information. This can be done by emailing our Customer
Support at customerservice@sanosurf.com.
Notification of Changes: If we decide
to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this
privacy statement, the homepage, or other places we deem appropriate
so our users are always aware of what information we collect and
how we use it. If, however, we are going to use users' personally
identifiable information in a manner different from that stated
at the time of collection we will notify users via email.
